It is my great privilege, to welcome you to Compton All Saints’ Church of England Primary School.
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful village of Compton, just south of Winchester, we are a small rural school with a very big heart. Our size is one of our greatest strengths; every child is known, valued and nurtured as an individual, and together we form a close-knit community where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
At Compton All Saints’, we are passionate about giving children the very best start in life. Our Christian values of love, courage and respect run through everything we do. They shape not only the way we learn, but also how we treat one another, celebrate our differences, and support each child to flourish both academically and personally.
We believe that primary school should be a time of joy, discovery and growth. That’s why we provide a broad and inspiring curriculum where children are encouraged to be curious, creative and courageous in their learning. Ofsted (2023) praised our “ambitious curriculum” and recognised the way pupils “take pride in their achievements and behave exceptionally well”. We are proud that our children are known for their kindness, resilience and determination.
Our vision is that every child who joins Compton All Saints’ will leave us not only with strong foundations in learning, but also with the confidence, character and compassion to shape the future world as architects of positive change. We want our children to shine; to discover their talents, develop a love of learning, and build the resilience to meet life’s challenges.
We are a family school, rooted in our community, where children feel safe, loved and inspired every day. Visitors often comment on the warmth of our welcome and the joyful atmosphere around our school. We would be delighted to share this with you whether you are a prospective parent, member of our parish, or simply curious to find out more.
We warmly invite you to come and visit us in person to experience the spirit of Compton All Saints’ for yourself.
With warm wishes,
Rebecca Lamport
